Eu acho estas aulas muio importantes, pois pralém de fazermos jogos ao mesmo tempo estamos a estudar. Escrevemos em Inglês mensagens para outros meninos e ainda por cima fazemos amizades. Adoro ouvir as vozes dos meninos/as que nos mandam pelo computador da professora Teresa. Adora estas aulas e gostava que pró ano, se a professora ficar com a nossa turma, que tivessemos estas aulas. Para mim as CALL lessons foram muito boas porque fizemos montes de amigos. É uma página em que temos 3 amigos polacos que falam connosco por e-mail [essa página é Have Fun with English, embora associada a esta]. O Tommy e o Wojtek enviaram-nos fotografias muito bonitas, deles na neve e da comunhão do Wojtek. As lições foram muito giras, porque aprendi muito com elas e a que mais gostei foi  a no. 10. For me the CALL lessons were very good, because we made lots of new friends. It's a page in which we have 3 Polish friends who speak with us by e-mail [that page is Have Fun with English, though it's linked to this one]. Tommy and Wojtek sent us very nice photos in the snow and of Wojtek's communion. The lessons were funny, because I learned a lot with them. I liked lesson 10 best. Gostei muito quando a professora de Inglês disse que a turma do 5. F ia ter umas aulas extra de Inglês durante o Estudo Acompanhado. Ao início quando começamos as CALL lessons não gostava muito, mas depois comecei a gostar muito mais. Cada vez eram mais jogos, cada vez mais divertidos, e eu verifiquei uma coisa muito engraçada: "Enquanto fazíamos os jogos, estavamos a aprender e isso é muito, muito engraçado." Parabéns professoras. (Sim, porque a prof. Susana também ficou com a outra metada da turma!!!) Aprendi e gostei. Espero que a professora para o ano também faça isso com os seus futuros launos. Gostei muito de ser aluno de 2 professoras tão simpaticas, divertidas, e com muita energia. (Rodrigo) I loved it when the English tecaher said that 5. F would have some extra English lessons during Estudo Acompanhado. At first, when we started the CALL lessons, I didn't like them much, but then I started to like them. There were more and more games, and more fun, and I found an interesting thing: "While we were playing the games, we were learning, and that's very, very interesting." I really liked it. Congratulations, teachers. (Yes, because teacher Susana was with the other half of the class!!!) I learned and I liked that. I hope that next year the English teacher will do the same with her upcoming students. I loved being a student of two very nice and fun and very energetic teachers. (Rodrigo)

As CALL lessons deviam vir no início do 1. Período, porque são necessárias, aprende-se mais Inglês, e deviam continuar para o ano que vem, se continuar a ser a mesma professora... fazemos jogos que nos deixam aprender... Realmente a "stora" tem um cérebro pensador que tem muito boas ideias e espero que a professora não fique com "preguicite aguda", como diz. (Alexandre) The CALL lessons should start in the 1st term, because they are helpful, we learn more English, and they should continue next year if we have the same teacher... Teacher, you really have a thinking mind with lots of good ideas and I hope that you don't get "acute laziness", as you say. (Alexandre)

This is our last lesson this year. I hope that you liked (= tenham gostado) these English lessons with computers and the Internet, that you learned from them (= tenham aprendido com elas), and that you had fun working with your partner(s). Next year there will be more! 

This is what you will do today:

  • go to Have Fun with English to see Wojtek's photos and read my messages (10 mins);
  • then do any exercises or games we did (= fizemos) this year (20 mins);
  • send me a "Bye-bye! See you next year!" message (10 mins).

Today's lesson is for revision of The Time. The exercises were made by (= foram feitos pela) Tommy's mother. What a nice surprise, isn't it? Thank you, Agata! 

1. Matching exercise: "What's the time?"

  • drag the blue piece to the left, next to the correct yellow piece

  • play the game three times (= joga três vezes)

  • give me the scores (= resultados) at the end of the three exercises

2. Memory game: concentrate yourself to match the time in numbers with the correct text

  • click two different rectangles, one at a time (= um de cada vez), and try to match the times

  • memorize where the times not used (= não usadas) are

  • play it twice (= duas vezes)

3. Spelling exercise: SpeedWord

  • concentrate yourself!

  • spell each answer fast: in 10 seconds!

  • click the space tile (= quadrado dos espaços) between words

  • give me the score at the end of the game

1-4 March: Lesson 4

This week's lessons are for "Writing a text message to Wojtek and Tommy and recording it in voice mail".

1. Writing a group message to Wojtek and Tommy (~20 minutes)

  • read Wojtek's and Tommy's latest messages (= mensagens mais recentes): remember their questions (~5 minutes)
  • click on Retroceder (= Back) (top left) to return to Have Fun with English and read the messages
  • then. . . think about what you want to say (= pensem no que querem dizer)! please answer their questions (~5 minutes)
  • one student goes to the board (= vai para o quadro) and writes (= escreve) the group's final message and another student copies the text (= escreve-a) on the email photocopy (~10 minutes)

2. Recording the text message (~20 minutes)

  • choose a student or a group of 2-3 students to record the message
  • practice it once or twice (= treina uma ou duas vezes)
  • with the teacher's help, record the message on her laptop (= computador portátil)
  • listen to the recording (= gravação)

1. Ordinal Numbers

  • Today you will do (= Hoje vão fazer) three exercises about Ordinals.
  • Click on Ordinal numbers to go to Exercise 1.
  • When you finish Exercise 1, click on Check to see your score and tell me your group result.
  • Then click on Next for Exercise 2.
  • When you finish Exercise 2, click on Check for your score and give me your result.
  • Then click on Next for Exercise 3.
  • When you finish, click on Check and let me know (= digam-me) your result.
